Celebrate your team’s work during the third annual Orthodontic Staff Appreciation Week, June 5-9, 2017. The AAO offers tools and ideas for recognition, fun and patient involvement.
During the 2016 celebration, orthodontic team members working in hundreds of member practices were reminded of how important their work is to their employers and patients. While the activities and methods of providing recognition varied, participating doctors showed their deep appreciation of their employees’ work with patients and other tasks essential to orthodontic practice operations. More than 400 posts appeared on a tagboard (social media search tool) set up by the AAO to display social media posts pertaining to Orthodontic Staff Appreciation Week.
Member practices may make use of AAO-prepared social media copy about Staff Appreciation Week, as well as web/social media banners, posters, fliers, sample patent letters and press release templates. A printable patient comment card may be used in advance of the week to invite patients to comment on their positive experiences with orthodontic staff.
Some participating members or their practice managers provided the AAO with stories about their 2016 Orthodontic Staff Appreciation Week celebrations.
