Dr. Flavia Artese will present “Open Bite: Are We Treating the Right Causes?” at the 2020 Winter Conference, February 7 – 9 at the J.W. Marriott – Austin in Austin, Texas.

An associate professor of orthodontics at Rio de Janeiro State University, Dr. Artese will speak on controversies about open bite etiology and concerns about relapse following treatment. As part of the discussion she will present criteria for diagnosis and treatment with examples of treated cases that have remained stable for more than 10 years.

Dr. Artese is just one of 20 expert speakers, including eight from outside North America, who will address treatment of patients with anterior open bite – in mixed dentition, adolescence and adulthood – during the 2020 Winter Conference.
