Make Your 2022 AAOPAC Contribution – Now-December 31
If you have not made your contribution to the AAOPAC this year, there is still time. You can go to AAOPAC.org to make your contribution in less than a minute. Through the AAOPAC we are creating and growing important relationships in Congress for influence not only in the regulatory and legislative environment in Washington, D.C., but to also support our policy priorities in states across the country.

Your participation with AAOPAC makes all the difference to fuel our advocacy efforts, and we need your help today for playing defense and offense on our most important issues:  addressing workforce challenges; cutting red tape for small businesses; mail-order orthodontic patient health and safety concerns; student loan debt; access to quality care; and much more.

The 117th Congress Ends December 31– Use Your Voice Now
Send a message to your senators to get the Ensuring Lasting Smiles Act (ELSA) passed during this Congress. ELSA (S. 754/H.R. 1916) is bipartisan legislation that would address delays and denials in insurance coverage that prevent access to necessary diagnosis and treatment, including the necessary adjunctive dental and orthodontic procedures, for those patients with congenital anomalies.

ELSA has already passed in the House of Representatives, so we need your help to get it passed in the Senate to become law. Please click here to send a quick message to federal lawmakers.

Legislative Sessions Begin the First Week of January in Some States
Your voice makes a difference! Please take a moment to send a holiday message of thanks to your state senators and representatives as we work to grow our relationships this year ahead of the upcoming legislative session in 2023.

We look forward to keeping you updated on Advocacy trainings, state, and federal updates as we have them, and other grassroots opportunities once states across the country begin their legislative sessions. Make sure to open emails from AAO Advocacy to ensure you are up-to-date with important news about your state and opportunities to get involved and use your voice.  Find your state’s legislative session dates here.
