Members wishing for convenient, easy access to the 2017-18 AAO Membership Card will now be able to download their membership cards online. In conjunction with an effort to make membership processes more environmentally friendly, the AAO will now only print and mail membership cards if asked to do so by individual members.
You may download your AAO membership card – individualized with your name, member number and constituent organization – by logging onto aaoinfo.org and clicking on My AAO in the upper right section of the page next to your name. On your My AAO page, click on the blue My Membership Card tab under your name. The individualized PDF with your card will open and may be saved and printed.*
Some members find having the membership card, which shows the membership number, convenient when registering for AAO meetings. You may also find your member number on your AAO profile by logging onto aaoinfo.org and clicking on My AAO.
* Note that your membership card and the membership number on it are only valid if you have paid 2017-18 dues or made arrangements with the AAO to pay in installments. This applies to member discounts on meetings, products, etc. The expiration date on the downloaded card will be the last day of the last membership card for which you paid dues.
If you have not paid your 2017-18 dues and wish to pay online, after logging onto aaoinfo.org, click on Store in the upper right section of the home page. Then, click on Open Invoices and open your 2017-18 dues statement to pay online.
