The Political Action Committee (AAOPAC) has reached 90% of its $400,000 fundraising goal for this fiscal year, and contributions are on pace to break the all-time AAOPAC fiscal year record, ending May 31. Our fiscal year goal of 738 contributors to AAOPAC still needs another 200 AAO members* to participate.
AAO members are investing in AAOPAC to help fuel our advocacy success not only in Washington, D.C. but in states throughout the country. Please consider making a contribution for 2023 now at AAOPAC.org to help us reach our goals and break the AAOPAC record!
All AAO members can make an important impact and help us reach our goal, including orthodontic residents. AAO Resident Champion Dr. Katie Garrett-McCormack of the University of Maryland, an AAOPAC Board member, is currently leading an AAOPAC Orthodontic Resident Challenge.
All AAO student members** are asked to support the AAOPAC and make a minimum $10 contribution by April 16 to be eligible for the challenge. All orthodontic residency programs that have 100% participation will be entered into a drawing for free lunch gift cards at the 2023 Annual Session in Chicago.
