The 2023 AAO House of Delegates meeting will meet in Chicago, Illinois on April 21 and 24 in conjunction with the 2023 Annual Session.
Would you like to have input on AAO actions and policies such as updates to the Clinical Practice Guidelines and the membership Limited Practice Waiver, changes to the Consumer Awareness Program (CAP) assessment, or a possible $200 annual stipend for orthodontic resident members? If so, here is your opportunity.
All AAO members are invited to review and comment on resolutions that will be voted on during the 2023 HOD meeting. As we have done in recent years as part of our commitment to transparency and accessibility of governance, the AAO is enabling members to use technology to provide input toward votes that will take place during the HOD meeting. The votes will impact the future of the association.

All comments posted by noon CDT on April 19 will be considered as testimony by the HOD Reference Committees during their hearings on April 21. The committees consider testimony from members while finalizing resolutions to put forward before the HOD for voting at its second meeting, which will be on April 24 this year.
Members Are Invited to Observe House of Delegates Meetings
In addition, all AAO members are welcome to observe the HOD meeting in person or via a livestream that will be on the AAO Facebook page.
The HOD meetings will be held at the Marriott Marquis Chicago, Great Lakes Salons D-G.
● First HOD Meeting: Friday, April 21, 12 pm – 3 pm Central
● Second HOD Meeting: Monday, April 24, 12 pm – 5 pm Central, unless business concludes earlier
