Interactive Learning Sessions, exclusively for clinical and administrative orthodontic team members, will be part of the 2026 Annual Session schedule on Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2. The Active Learning for Ortho Team series offers a fresh alternative to traditional lecture formats.
Tickets required for admission are available at no cost with Annual Session registration; however, all sessions are close to being full. Waitlists will become available as sessions fill.
Topics will include Harnessing AI for Social Media Marketing, Smart Strategies for Employee Recruitment & Retention, Optimizing Practice Management with AI Tools, Clinical Photography with Smartphone Technology, Essential Insurance Coding & Billing Strategies and Key Dental Hygiene Practices for Orthodontic Teams.
Team members from states requiring CE credit will be eligible for 1.25 hours per Interactive Learning Session completed. Each dynamic, 75-minute team session will emphasize active participation and engagement (through real-time exercises and peer interaction), collaborative dialogue to share insights and experiences, and technology and tools that enhance practical skill building.
Clinical Techniques Attendee Path Offers Content for Clinical Teams
In addition, traditional Annual Session lectures of interest to clinical team members will address safe debonding, OSHA updates, sterilization and digitally guided indirect bonding.
Practice management staff, treatment coordinators and receptionists will find multiple topics of interest in the Business Success, Innovation & Tech Talk and Personal & Professional Growth attendee paths. In addition, Mainstage lectures are also designated for both doctor and team audiences.

When registering your team for Annual Session, there is a 20% discount for four or more team members. In addition, each registrant who is a member of the AAO Orthodontic Staff Club receives an additional $50 discount. A qualifying team member can take advantage of BOTH of these discounts.
