The AAO's first Membership Awareness Month is now underway. During November, communication with existing and prospective members will focus on awareness of the many programs, services, resources and tools available to AAO members. Look for:
 
30 days of social media outreach, During November, one AAO member benefit per day will be promoted across most AAO social media platforms. Particular emphasis will be placed on newer, under-utilized and often-overlooked resources and tools that can help enhance the success of an orthodontic practice. Items in the eBulletin will remind members about the resource promotions and link to the social media outlets;

Announcements about the launch of the AAO Champion Program.  Those members characterized as highly engaged will be recognized as AAO Champions and encouraged to share their enthusiasm for the association’s programs and services with colleagues. Members holding volunteer leadership positions in the organization, those who frequently utilize member resources, and those who advocate for the specialty in the political arena will be eligible for the AAO Champion designation. Starting November 1, members may nominate themselves or colleagues for the program. Virtual Career Fair to Help Orthodontists, Employers Connect
Members may discuss orthodontic career opportunities, exchange contact information and schedule future meetings with prospective employers during the free Membership Awareness Month Virtual Career Fair, Thursday, November 19 from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. CST. Log in and out whenever you wish. The career fair will include a two-hour online practice transition Q&A panel to help attendees navigate their careers.
