2024 Annual Session innovation-themed events offered attendees in-depth insight into some of today’s most noteworthy products.
The OrthoTank Pitch Event featured companies pitching for a chance at an AAO Innovation & Transformation Fund investment. Dr. Trista Felty hosted the event, with judges including three orthodontic entrepreneurs, Dr. Chris Bonebreak Jackson, Dr. Brandon Owen and Dr. Bobbi Peterson, and two dental business and technology entrepreneurs, Dr. Jeremy Krell and Mr. Ying Tam (pictured above with event participants).
The judges chose RETAIN as the winning OrthoTank presentation. This subscription program provides patients with retainers when and where they want, while doctors earn retainer-based income from their patients, forever. Retain will now advance to vetting by the AAO Business Development Committee.

Synapse Dental and Dental Monitoring Took New Product Showcase Awards
Attendees voted for their favorite products from 33 competitors in the 2024 New Product Showcase Award program throughout the meeting. Results included:
