The AAOPAC Board Race to 10 challenges each Constituent Region to achieve at least 10% member participation in AAOPAC giving between June 1 and December 1.
While contribution levels will vary, the focus is on broad engagement and collective impact. Every member has a role to play in advancing the specialty and protecting patient access to quality care. Progress will be tracked and shared throughout the campaign to foster friendly competition, with recognition opportunities for top-performing groups (including bragging rights and a traveling trophy for the winning Constituent Region).
Your PAC keeps us aligned and engaged as professionals striving towards a unified cause; federal laws and regulations affect us all as business owners and healthcare providers. Our AAOPAC represents our ability to amplify our collected voice and impact the hearts and minds of legislators of both political parties. As we race towards 10% giving, we create momentum for the profession.
What Can the AAOPAC Do for My Practice?
Your support fuels progress on critical issues such as:
- Addressing workforce shortages
- Offering solutions for student loan debt
- Protecting patients from mail-order orthodontic treatment model risks
- Advancing orthodontists’ ability to practice and care for patients
- Advocating for orthodontists as healthcare providers and small business owners
AAOPAC is the only political action committee solely dedicated to representing orthodontists and their patients. Our bipartisan Pillars of Giving strengthen relationships with lawmakers who champion the AAO’s mission, support our priorities, and influence meaningful change across the country.
