● Dave McGillivray (keynote speaker, presenting “Defining Moments,” sponsored by Crest + OralB). The race director of the Boston Marathon, Dave McGillivray has run the marathon each year since 1973. (Since he began working for the marathon in 1988, he has run the course afterwards each year.) Mr. McGillivray has logged more than 150,000 miles in 157 marathons, most for charity, raising millions for worthy causes. Author of the autobiographical work, The Last Pick, Mr. McGillivray also published a children’s book based on the autobiography, Dream Big: A True Story of Courage and Determination. His second children’s book, about his 1978 run across the country, debuted in 2019. It is titled, Running Across America: A True Story of Dreams, Determination, and Heading for Home.

● Mitch Albom (keynote speaker), presenting “Living is Giving. Mr. Albom’s Tuesday’s with Morrie has become the best-selling memoir ever published. In 2010, he received the Red Smith Award for lifetime achievement from the Associated Press Sports Editors. In 2013, he was inducted into the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Hall of Fame.  Mr. Albom operates charities in southeast Michigan under his SAY Detroit umbrella, and an orphanage in Port au Prince, Haiti.

● Dr. Chris Roberts, presenting “Hopkinton to Boston in 65,500 Steps: Boston Marathon History and Reflections of a 21-time Finisher.” The immediate past president of the AAO (2020-21) and host of the Virtual Annual Session, Dr. Roberts will reflect on the history of the Boston Marathon and his experiences in completing the marathon. His 21st run is coming up on October 11 when Boston Marathon 2021 is scheduled to take place.

● Jessica Rector, presenting “Fire Up Your Thinking:  Manage Your Mental Health Through Change, Uncertainty and Challenges.”   The Number One requested future speaker from recent Annual Session team program evaluations, Ms. Rector is Known worldwide as a motivational speaker, She offers dynamic research-based presentations to help audience enhance performance and reduce burnout.
