What Is Practice Based Research

A PBRN is a group of dental practices that have come together to conduct research in the real world of practice with real patients in real time. The National Dental Practice-Based Research Network (NDPBRN) is the largest PBRN in dentistry and is funded by NIH/NIDCR. To date, over 40 studies involving data gathered from over 70,000 patients have been conducted through the NDPBRN. One of the largest prospective cohort studies on Anterior Open Bite Correction has been conducted through the NDPBRN. Click on the link to learn more about the NDPBRN
