2026 AAO Annual Session
You are invited to share your research findings with your colleagues through an Oral Research presentation, a Table Clinic or an e-Poster at the 2026 AAO Annual Session.
Program Application
The deadline to submit an application for the 2027 Oral Research, Table Clinic and e-Poster programs
is October 16, 2026 at 5:00pm Central Time.
NO applications will be accepted after the deadline.
Also, NO changes can be made to any applications that have already been submitted.

Online Application
The application window for 2027 opened June 1, 2026, and will close on October 16, 2026. As indicated above, NO Oral Research, Table Clinic or e-Poster applications will be accepted after the deadline.

e-Posters from the 2026 Annual Session are now available for viewing. Stay tuned for the 2027 e-Posters to appear next June.
Important Information
Notification of Acceptance or Rejection Date
Acceptance or Rejections notices will be sent to all applicants by January 31, 2027.
Directions for Uploading e-Posters 2027
Directions for uploading any accepted e-Posters will be sent through the application system after February 2027.
e-Poster Uploaded Deadline
Tuesday, May 4, 2027, at 5pm Central Time is the deadline for all accepted e-Posters to be uploaded. Should you have questions regarding this process, please contact the AAO by email at: [email protected]
**BE ADVISED, Please do NOT contact the AAO to confirm if your e-Poster was uploaded. If you successfully uploaded your e-Poster, the system automatically sends you a thank you email. SAVE THAT EMAIL as it will serve as your only confirmation that your e-Poster was uploaded successfully. The successful e-Poster applicant will receive ONLY two emails, a congratulations email notification of e-Poster acceptance and the aforementioned email confirming the e-Poster was successfully uploaded.
Applicants must save the emails referenced above as CERTIFICATES OF PARTICIPATION ARE NOT PROVIDED FOR THE e-POSTER PROGRAM.
