Join your orthodontic colleagues and members of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry for the 2018 Winter Conference, February 9-11 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The meeting, “Early Orthodontic Treatment: Working Together for Excellent Results,” will feature lecturers representing both specialties, including experts from the United States and several other countries. Trauma will be addressed from both orthodontic and pediatric dental perspectives. Lectures will also address impaction, malformed first molars, dental transplants, decoronation (a surgical method for treating an ankylosed tooth), anterior crossbites, whitespot lesion prevention and treatment, autistic and cancer patients, parental expectations and risk management.

  • Orthodontic lecturers will include Drs. Adrian Becker, Stella Chaushu, Ewa Czochrowska, John Christensen, David Covell, Greg Huang, Peter Ngan and Gerald Samson.
  • Pediatric dental speakers will include Drs. Paul Casamassimo, Dennis McTigue, Barbara Sheller and David Tesini.
  • Lecturers who are specialists in both orthodontics and pediatric dentistry include Drs. David Kennedy, Young Tze Kuah and Michael Mayhew.
  • Also presenting will be Dr. Lars Andersson, oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
