Members Invited to Comment on House of Delegates Resolutions

Would you like to have input on proposed AAO actions and policies that will impact the future of the AAO and the specialty? All AAO members are invited to comment on resolutions that will be voted on by the 2025 House of Delegates, which will meet in conjunction with the 2025 Annual Session in Philadelphia.

AAO House of Delegates Reference Committees will hold hearings on Thursday, April 24, 2025, which members are invited to attend for the purpose of commenting on 2025 HOD resolutions. The Reference Committees will consider testimony from members while finalizing resolutions to put forward before the HOD for voting at its second meeting on April 27.

If you cannot attend a Reference Committee hearing, we invite you to review resolutions and post comments on any resolutions of interest. All comments on resolutions posted by noon CDT on April 22 will be considered as testimony by the HOD Reference Committees during their hearings on April 24.

Review and Comment on 2025 HOD Resolutions

Members Are Invited to 2025 Governance Meetings in Philadelphia
If you will be in Philadelphia on April 24, you are invited to offer commentary on House of Delegates resolutions in person during Reference Committee hearings. 2025 Reference Committee meetings will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center from 4:00 p.m. Eastern time until business is completed, in PCC 123 (RC#1), PCC 124 (RC #2) and PCC 125 (RC #3).

In addition, all AAO members are welcome to observe the House of Delegates meetings in person or via a livestream that will be on the AAO Facebook page. 2025 HOD meetings will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in the Terrace Ballroom, Level 4.

● Second HOD Meeting: Sunday, April 27, 12:30 pm – 5:00 pm Eastern, unless business concludes earlier.
