AAO members interested in serving in a volunteer capacity with the Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition (CCEPR) or the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) are invited to apply for open positions. The deadline to apply for all three openings is May 1, 2023. A committee of the AAO Board of Trustees will review applications, interview candidates and select appointees to these positions by June 1.
The CCEPR administers the ADA CERP application process used to evaluate dental continuing education providers for compliance with the ADA CERP Recognition Standards and Procedures. CODA accredits dental, advanced dental and allied dental education programs in the United States, including orthodontic residency programs.
